Interpretive Center School Programs - Grades 1, 2 and 3:

First Grade - "Critter Connections"

Learn about bay animals, their habitats and how they are all interdependent. Located at the Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center.

Second Grade - "Mud Meals and Soil Stories"

In this 2 hour program students participate in hands on explorations of wetland and upland soil, make discoveries about bay animals through exhibit activities, learn about the mud flat habitat and use microscopes to observe mud organisms. Located at the Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center. Aligned with California State Science Content Standards: 3 b. c., 4 c. f. g.

Third Grade - "Avian Adaptations"

This 2-hour program features bird adaptations and migration through exhibit and outdoor games and activities. Students use binoculars to observe our feathered friends in their natural habitats. Located at the Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center. Aligned with California State Science Content Standards: 3 a. b. c. d.
