Plant: Upwards branching almost leafless shrub, green stemmed to 10 feet high.
Flowers: Pea like, yellow, in terminal racemes 3/4 to 1 inch long.
Seed Pod: 2 to 4 inches long with many seeds.
Leaf: Few, alternating on stems, narrow, oblong 1/2 to 1 inch long.

April to June
