Steward Days: Every Wednesday 9-11am

Qualifications Needed:

10-week Naturalist Training or UCCE Master Gardener.

Desire to work with plants from seeding through transplanting process to 1-gallon containers. Desire to work with others.

Training Given:

Training available at each Wednesday event.

Job Description:

Restoration-Education Green Thumbs propagate native plants from collecting seed, sowing seed flats, and transplanting to small pots and then 1-gallon pots.  Some fieldwork (native plant installation and invasive plant removal) takes place throughout the year as necessary.  Other tasks include maintaining the nursery and its plants (weeding, watering, cleaning pots, etc.).

Job Expectations:

Attend events as available (make your own schedule).
