Great Outdoors Day, August 2000

Over 500 people joined us on Saturday, August 26th to interpret the wonders of Upper Newport Bay through a variety of hands-on activities at "Creation Stations" along Back Bay Drive and to see popular artists from Laguna Beach Plein Air Artists take part in an extraordinary "Paint Out". The works the artists created during the day will become live and silent auction items for the "Open to Interpretation" fundraiser scheduled for October 12 at the new Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center.
