Sponsoring Opportunities

Various sponsoring and naming opportunities exist. These include event and program sponsorships as part of the NBNF operating campaign, and exhibit and other naming opportunities as part of the NBNF capital campaign. A special naming opportunity is the Van Sant sculpture that rises over the Donor Wall at the Interpretive Center.
Our Special Events for 2008 are: Earth Day (April 26) Estuary Awareness Day (May 30) Bay Clean-Up Day (September 19)
Program sponsorships come in many forms. They include the underwriting of publications about the natural history of Upper Newport Bay and the bussing of inner city school children to Upper Newport Bay for nature field trips. The Newport Bay Naturalists and Friends is a section 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to preserving and educating the public about Upper Newport Bay.
